The Arthritis & Rheumatism centre is a state of the art treatment clinic for the management of joint related problems. It is run by Dr V V Kaushik, who has trained and worked in England for the last 17 years. He has full accreditation in Rheumatology from PMETB UK and has expertise in management of all types of joint pains and Rheumatological conditions. Dr V V Kaushik, is the only Rheumatologist in Chennai with full international accreditation with experience as a substantive Consultant Rheumatologist from England.

Dr Kaushik graduated in 1995. Following this he went to England for further training where he gained experience in general and internal Medicine by working at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Birmingham.

After successfully completing his general professional training, he went on to work at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital for his completion of training in Rheumatology. -
He has been a Consultant in Rheumatology since 2005 to 2012 at Lincoln County Hospital and Boston Pilgrim Hospital, United Kingdom. He is extensively trained in all aspects of Rheumatology. -
He has several publications and presentations in national and international journals. He has also served as Associate Clinical Sub-‐dean for the University of Nottingham, with responsibility for undergraduate medical education in Lincolnshire.
Dr Kaushik presently consults at Apollo Hospital, Greams Road, Chennai in the mornings between 8am - 12pm.
He is available at his clinic in Numgambakkam from 2pm - 7pm.
